We opened about 18 months ago. We being Mr Toad, Neil my partner and myself. I resigned from teaching design. I have a design background. I trained as a Silversmith and always enjoyed pushing design boundaries and still do. Neil used to supply retail outlets so has experience of furniture and giftware.
The premises came up in the lovely market town of Olney in Bucks. It supports many independent shops and is in a prime spot on the Market place.
We decided to go for it and work for ourselves. We haven't looked back since.
We wanted to create an interiors shop that was different and offered customers a unique shopping experience.
The backdrop at the rear of the shop creates a warm and inviting environment. We have wonderful comments about the shop on a daily basis. We are very proud of what we have achieved.
The service we offer is above the high street level in that we make excellent British Made affordable furniture to suit your style,measurements and colours, Making it unique and bespoke for you.
Next to design my second love like many of us is SHOPPING
Buying for the shop is probably my favorite thing. I love hunting down the unusual, quirky and stylish accessories for the shop and ultimately your home. we always buy with you in mind. I do like a statement, Neil thinks I buy to many but you can never have enough in my eyes.
